News for you

Okay, it looks like I'm a 5th of the month poster. Maybe things will slow down a little now that harvest is FINALLY over----not! Christmas is fast approaching and I have lots to do yet. I sat in the truck the other day and put some Christmas cards together. I need to do some stamping yet, and maybe I'll get them sent out soon.
CTMH is having a sale going on now, so check out the website. Also, a new Stamp of the Month is available and be sure to see the Felicity kit, our new promotion product.

Thanks for checking in! Happy stmaping and scrapping.

P.S. I've recieved the new Spring 2010 Close To My Heart Idea Books and will soon have them available

Maybe we're finally going to have some Indian Summer--or at least as close as we can get to that this fall. We're glad to see the sun shining again and drying up the fields. Harvest is slow, but at least it is going again now. Here's a card for you to Enjoy! these November fall days. I hope they stay around all month! The paper is from Close to my Heart "Twitterpated" paper pack and the stamp is "Many Thanks" D1371. Have a great day!

In honor of National Card Making Day last Saturday, I finally got to my stamp room and made a few cards. I'm already ahead of last year's Christmas card making, I can't believe it. These cards are from the "Merry Pursuits" stamp set from CTMH and uses Background and Texture (B&T) paper from the Evensong packet. Get started on your cards now, and avoid the rush!!

Time flies when you're having fun! Last week we had a call from our NY kids saying they were moving to St. Louis. Yea! That's about 3 1/2 hours from us compared to the 14 it usually takes us! We are excited, ecstatic, and thrilled that they will be closer to all of the family soon! Fortunately, that meant we could make a trip to MO to help search for a house. One was found so the paper work is being done! The girls especially liked the pool at the hotel!
This week is Bible School at our church, so every evening is filled. Caden's basketball team won a championship basketball tournament after 4 days of games in Bloomington. Way to go, guys. PT--you're the best at rooting them on! Grandad got to see the last game! I feel really blessed with what's going on in our busy lives.

Another Monday morning, but it has cooled off a little and it's great! Last week I attended the National Agriculture in the Classroom Conference in St. Louis. It was a fantastic 4 days, and I brought back so much information for future presentations. It was hot, hot, hot! on the traveling workshops, but I enjoyed it all. The outing at Grant's Farm brought back good memories of times there with the kids! I met a lot of other AITC people from other states, learning first hand about their state's farm products. Back home now, I need to get all the material sorted and plan for next year's lesson presentations!
I want to get back to stamping and scrapbooking. I had to make a couple of quick cards last night and hopefullly will be able to post some samples soon. Check out MojoMonday.blogspot.com for some great artwork.
I've also been meeting with a few friends that work on quilts. They've been helping me with one of mine, and we've also made some Linus quilts and quilt tops for veterans. It is a fun time, and working with others helps get the job done!
I hope you all have a great week!

A new look

Here's the new look to my blog! Many thanks to my Close To My Heart consultant friend Mary Vogel who designed it for me. Didn't she do a great job? If you're looking for a custom designed background for your blog, she'd be glad to help. Check out her blog at http://Brytedesigns.blogspot.com. Now, if I can take some lessons in posting some pictures, I'll be all set!
